Around five years ago, I fell in love with a blog that changed the way I viewed the world. All her great inspiration and advice suddenly found its way creeping into my everyday life. I certainly wouldn’t have the fashion sense I have today without her. I used to use her blog as a bible… vigorously buying each outfit she recommended, or trying each product she raved about until one day I found that I no longer really needed it. I had developed my own eye for outfit inspiration or small lifestyle changes and I can not thank her enough for everything she has taught me about both life and fashion. The two really go hand in hand for some so I hope that this blog is just as much of an adventure for you as it is going to be for me.
I am a young woman, in her twenties, so I can relate first hand how hard it can be to piece together who it is that you are and how you would like to present yourself to the world. A lot of that comes together through having fun, experimentation, and making mistakes along the way (see, life is a lot like fashion). They say that life gets easier in your thirties because your twenties are there for the sole reason of building confidence in your endeavors. I’m here for you to use me as your bible till you’re brave enough to stand on your own two feet like the beautiful, independent people I know you all are. The main goal for me is to pass what I’ve learned so far unto you and to continue to learn/develop who I am as well.
Cheers! to opening this exciting new chapter in my book, I can’t wait to see where this takes us…
Have to of course give a huge shoutout to my inspiration, Carly “The College Prepster,” thank you for always being there with guidance/reassurance that finding yourself is hard for everyone, even those who make it look easy… and that no matter what happens in life we will always end up where we need to be!
