So I am super lucky to have an awesome photographer/really good-looking male model who lets me feature him on here. (P.S. thanks for being so supportive, Nick) We took an adventure to Hoboken for dinner one Friday night and couldn’t resist taking photos with the perfect New York City Skyline in the backdrop.
This weather is so in-between these days I feel like my body temperature is off and I never know what to wear. We both anticipated it being warmer and wound up freezing our butts off by the end of the night. I decided to go with a simple black maxi and trench with heels. Nicky went with khaki shorts and a button-down. I’d say we looked pretty spring.
I can’t wait for this warm weather to become more consistent…
Sorry its been a little while, I had some family stuff going on last week. I was able to get myself to a park on Sunday to shoot some pictures for this new outfit I put together featuring gingham which is a key component to this spring’s wardrobe. It’s everywhere. I usually do my shopping at J. Crew but I work for Michael Kors and their spring set is featuring gingham pieces as well. I was very excited!!
For this outfit I paired an oldie but a goodie top from J.Crew from one or two seasons back with the new Martie pant in gingham and sloan plaid d’Orsay flats that are super comfortable. If you’ve taken a peek at some current store catalogs recently you’ll see that they are certainly not shy when pairing gingham on gingham on gingham… which is really great for me because I’m obsessed! It was chilly so I just threw on an old black trench from Coach I got a few years back.
My boyfriend and I got the chance to bond at the park during this shoot. He has such a natural feel behind the lens. I was super impressed!
